I am an experienced Business and Economics teacher, currently working at a leading independent school. With over a decade of teaching experience, I specialise in guiding students through the A-Level and GCSE Business courses.

I was a Secondary School Teacher of the Year 2020 nominee and also serve as an examiner for A-Level and GCSE Business, giving me valuable insight into what examiners look for and how students can maximise marks.

My approach is clear, structured, and exam-focused. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and provide students with proven strategies to write higher-level answers. Many of my students have gone on to achieve A and A* grades and secure places at top universities.

Experience: I am an experienced Business Studies teacher with over 10 years of classroom expertise, having led both GCSE and A-Level Business. I have taught across multiple exam boards, including AQA and Edexcel, and currently serve as an Edexcel examiner for both A-Level and GCSE Business. This gives me an in-depth understanding of exam requirements and the skills students need to succeed.

Throughout my career, I have consistently raised attainment and supported students from all backgrounds to achieve excellent outcomes. I focus on building strong exam technique, equipping students with the strategies and confidence needed to secure top marks.

My students’ results speak for themselves – in recent years, A-Level Business progress placed within the top 25% nationally. In recognition of my impact in the classroom, I was also nominated for the National Teaching Awards 2020, receiving a certificate for Outstanding Secondary School Teacher of the Year.
