I am an experienced Science tutor specialising in Chemistry, with a student-centred and results-oriented approach to teaching. I focus on building strong core knowledge before helping students apply that understanding to problem-solving. This approach not only improves academic performance but also replaces exam-related stress with confidence and enjoyment in tackling challenging questions.
I hold a Bachelor`s degree in Chemistry and a postgraduate degree in Biochemistry, providing me with strong subject knowledge across the sciences. I have extensive experience teaching all three GCSE Sciences as well as A-Level Chemistry. My in-depth understanding of examination specifications and assessment requirements enables me to guide students effectively through even the most difficult topics and questions.
Rather than simply providing answers, I use hints, prompts, and targeted questioning to encourage independent thinking and deeper understanding. This method helps students master complex concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed in examinations.
My aim is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment in which students feel motivated to achieve their full potential and develop a genuine appreciation for science.

I have extensive experience teaching and supporting students across Key Stages 3 to 5, helping them strengthen fundamental scientific knowledge and address any gaps in understanding, regardless of their starting point. My personalised approach ensures that each student receives the guidance and support they need to make meaningful progress.
Through targeted instruction, regular feedback, and effective exam preparation, I help students develop both subject mastery and examination confidence. As a result, many of my students achieve significant improvements in their grades and approach their exams feeling prepared, motivated, and empowered to succeed.
