Birmingham Polytechnic (Aston University)-studied for Chartered Institute of Linguist exams in French and attained degree level (M.C.I.L).
Am registered as approved translator with Shropshire Chamber of Commerce -have worked extensively in mainland Europe (see experience).
Hobbies -The Arts in general, travel, swimming.

Experience: Have run my own company EUROCONNECTION since 1990 offering language training, translation service and interpreting in French/German
and Italian.
Prior to that i held positions in industry including:
- in-house translator in Brussels for Petrofina S.A (now TOTAL)
- European Export Manager for Needle Industries Studley and Laughton & Sons Birmingham
- translator at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce
