I am a fully qualified and experienced English teacher (20 years +) with a Masters in Education whose ultimate goal in teaching is to provide students with requisite knowledge and encourage and develop critical thinking skills. In this way, not only do I satisfy my personal need to somehow make a difference, but I can also ensure that my students take back something from my teaching which they can apply within the context of the real world.

I have successfully raised achievement levels in hundreds of students over the years and pride myself in developing a clear focus on student learning. I subsequently adjust my teaching strategies in direct response to both the pace and depth of my students understanding. I specialise in teaching English at all levels and I am currently available to teach Primary English Key Stages 1 and 2.

Experience: A highly experienced English teacher with over 18 years of experience working in the field. I also have teacher training experience and was nominated by my educational establishment for the TES FE Award in 2021.

I also qualified with QTLS and have taught in the Primary and Middle School sectors in addition to Post-Compulsory.
