Primary tuition, SATs, English as a foreign language, GSCEs, Tourism Studies. Experienced tutor, TEFL qualified, completing PGCE in Primary Education. DBS on update service. Online or face-to-face tuition. I work with children and adults, tailoring the class to suit the needs and interests of the student, using a range of methods, games and activities to motivate, so learning is enjoyable. I enjoy supporting learners and seeing their progress. I tutor children and adults (online, from overseas) in English as an additional language. My current local students are young readers, year 6 maths, GCSE English Literature and Language and tutoring a mature degree student in academic writing. I have worked with science, history, design and technology and vocational subjects at GCSE level.

Experience: After completing a degree in Tourism Studies and working around the world, I qualified as a TEFL teacher and taught English in Spain to children and adults for 4 years. Returning to the UK I began working as a teaching assistant on a supply basis in primary and secondary schools and a college of further education while studying part-time for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Primary). I teach drama at a primary school, for all year groups. I have worked with pupils who have been excluded from school, offering home tuition.
