Experienced tutor, TEFL qualified, studied for PGCE in Primary Education. DBS on update service. Online or face-to-face tuition. I work with children and adults, tailoring the class to suit the needs and interests of the student, using a range of methods, games and activities to motivate, so learning is enjoyable. I enjoy supporting learners and seeing their progress. I also work with adult students and business people, supporting written and spoken English, essays, business presentations and dissertations. I am a qualified proof-reader.

Availability: Daytime, evening & weekends by arrangement. Flexible hours, with no need to commit to the same time each week.

Experience: After completing a degree in Tourism Studies and working around the world, I qualified as a TEFL teacher and taught English in Spain to children and adults for 4 years. Returning to the UK I began working as a teaching assistant on a supply basis in primary and secondary schools and a college of further education while studying part-time for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Primary). I have taught drama at a primary school, for all year groups. I have worked with pupils who have been excluded from school, offering home tuition.
