As a recent MPharm Pharmacy graduate, I have undertaken extensive written and practical examinations in various scientific subject areas, including physiology, pharmacology and pharmaceutics. All in which I have personally changed my learning style on a yearly basis to ensure best performance and academic outcome. In this way by practicing several past papers I know exactly what is expected to meet the criteria of the mark scheme. From primary to secondary to higher education, I have witnessed different teaching methods that have given me a good understanding of what makes teaching effective. I am a skilled and enthusiastic individual with experience supporting students outside of the classroom to meet academic challenges. It would be a privilege to tutor KS3 and GCSE Science and Maths students, as there is nothing more fulfilling than making a difference to their education to help them prepare for higher education.

Experience: I have experience in delivering university revision sessions to enable a student-centred approach to learning. The most important aspect of tutoring for me is tailoring particular teaching style to each individual at his or her own pace. The most appropriate, creative yet challenging curricular is key for developing a student’s skill set and understanding. For example, when preparing my revision sessions I make sure to cater to visual as well as auditory learners, by in cooperating relevant videos and exercises to complete molecular structures of compounds.
