I am Head of Physics at a high performing school in Cheshire. Last year my Physics A level cohort of 22 pupils achieved 50% A.A and 86% A*-B grades. There was similar success at GCSE. I have been teaching for 12 years.
Availability: As arranged. I am available in the evening, weekend or holidays when not in meetings / parents evenings etc.

My son enjoyed his lessons with Jamie enormously. He was studying for his A levels at college, but was struggling a little with Physics, and this was inevitably having a knock-on affect with his confidence with his other subjects. Not only was Jamie able to go over the areas that my son found difficult, but, in turn, his increased confidence helped tremendously with all his subjects, to the extent he entered the exams relatively calm and relaxed. I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend Jamie as a tutor.

Jamie is a very pleasant and professional physics tutor with a wide breadth of knowledge. He is able to adapt his lessons to suit the pupils needs. Lessons delivered by Jamie are interesting and fun. He always provides feedback after each lesson which is most useful. Thank you Jamie!

My son had been really struggling with Physics all through Lower Sixth. I was looking for a tutor who could teach A level and who had SEN experience. Jamie responded very promptly and gave me all the information I’d requested. Then when he actually started tutoring my son, it was evident that he did indeed have a lot of SEN knowledge. He immediately tuned in to my son’s learning needs, which to be honest some teachers who’ve known my son for years still don’t realize. My son went from being totally despondent to finding his passion for Physics again, for example in his first lesson saying the two hours felt like five minutes. In a few short weeks Jamie has done wonders and we now have a much more positive outlook for the next year. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
