Information about Marie-anne
I have recently been Senior Leader for English in a school for 5 years but due to the successes of my Department, I have been promoted to Assistant Principal from Sept 2019. I have been teaching at KS3 and 4 for 20 years and I have had great success, as my present position outlines. Additionally, I would like to stress that I have tutored one to one on many occasions and ALL of these pupils have met/exceeded their target grades. As with my classes in school, there is nothing I relish more than seeing a student reach their full potential. Furthermore, I am an examiner for GCSE English Language and Literature for both the AQA and Eduqas examination boards.
Availability: After school hours and weekends. Charge is £50.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have worked in a secondary school for 22 years. I have taught English and English Literature at KS3 and 4 regularly and have experience of teaching both at KS5.

Marie-Anne was a really good find for us and helped our daughter through her GCSE English Language and Literature...course content, revision planning, exam styles. My daughter`s confidence grew almost immediately and her final GCSE grades were really good after spending weekly sessions with Marie-Anne. My daughter most definitely benefited and got better grades with Marie-Anne`s guidance. Marie-Anne is punctual, caring and good fun. My daughter really enjoyed her lessons. A very nice person who is clearly a dedicated teacher. My children think she is friendly and helpful and after their first session recently we now intend to continue with lessons.

Marie-Anne worked with my 18 y/o son to increase his English grade. She connected with him right away and identified the areas that he needed to improve. I would highly recommend her.
