Hola/olá, a language graduate in Spanish and Portuguese. I spent a year abroad studying in Madrid and Porto. I would be happy to help you gain more confidence with written and spoken practice in Spanish and Portuguese.

Experience: I have an MA in Applied Translation Studies and a BA Joint Hons in Spanish and Portuguese. I am very passionate about learning new languages and helping others to improve their language skills. I understand how difficult languages can be, especially speaking the language without any family members who speak the language, but through persistence and hard work it is always attainable. I learnt through my years of studying at University that I should have the confidence in myself and I would like to help others to improve their confidence when learning a new language that they enjoy.

My daughter has been having 1:1 sessions with Katie for a number of weeks now and we’re already impressed with the progress that has been made. Katie is organised and prepared for each lesson with plans tailored to suit my daughter’s needs and interests and the speed at which she responds to our queries is second to none. We couldn’t ask for more!
