I have a teaching experience of over 10 years and my motivation for wanting to teach is to utilise my excellent subject knowledge and play a part in improving the way maths is taught in the UK.

I instill a passion for excellence within my pupils, as I believe that everyone has the potential to be great and fulfil whatever it is that they put their mind towards.

As a teaching assistant in [contact detail removed] for two years, my role was to assist the students with English and Maths and give feedback to their parents with regards to the performance of their child. It is particularly nice to know that a few of the students continued to pursue Maths to A Level because of my help. I am also experienced with helping adults prepare for their psychometric tests. I had to be organised, calm and able to communicate well within these roles. In these positions, I often had to think carefully through a problem in order to be able to explain it well to the students. These experiences have enabled me to be a role model, and because of this I am able to express my knowledge of mathematics to a wide age range of people.
