Information about Munera
I have been working in schools for over twenty years. Most of these children have English as their second language. My goal is to see achievements by my students through our understanding and allowing each individual to reach their potential goals.

Experience: I have been working and teaching in schools for over 25 years; first as a parent volunteer, then as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) assistant, an Educational Teaching Assistant (ETA), and later assigned the post of Cover Supervisor. As a cover supervisor I teach in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher, and also take on intervention groups for lower ability children. Prior to working in school, I worked in my local hospital as a chaplain, and was sent on home visits to the sick with multilingual languages
I thoroughly enjoy my job. I get great pleasure when seeing progress made by the children as they develop. English is a second language for many of the children that I work with, so to have the ability to help them understand and improve their language skills is very rewarding. I have worked with children with no English or as little as few words but have managed to communicate with them with through the use of simple words and pictures to help them along to fit into the environment that they live in. I love teaching children, helping them blossom into young adults, as they can be very fun to spend time with.
I feel that the years of experience through numerous courses via Open University, my TEFL 120-hour Advance course, and my flexible hours of working, have all equipped me fully for this job. I have also helped some of my friends to speak and develop their English after they moved to the UK from Spain or Morocco. My courses and experiences both enable me to to help others master the level of English language that they aim for. Working from home is also a great way for me to spend more time with my children and be available for their education, too.
