Information about Divya
With 25 years of experience teaching Mathematics across a wide range of curricula and student levels, I bring a deep understanding of how to support and accelerate individual student progress. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England, along with a PGCE and a Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) from the University of Buckingham, equipping me with both academic and practical teaching expertise.
My academic background includes two advanced degrees in Mathematics an MSc and an MPhil from respected universities. Throughout my career, I have taught high school students, IB Diploma candidates, IGCSE and GCSE students, as well as college and university-level learners, including Engineering, Management, and Statistics graduates.
Since 2017, I have been teaching in a well-regarded independent school in North London, where I apply modern, research-informed methods tailored to each student`s learning style and goals. My teaching is assessment-driven, with a strong focus on careful planning, process-based evaluations, and measurable outcomes.
Whether you`re a student looking to improve your grades or preparing for higher studies, Im happy to have an informal chat about how I can support your academic journey.
