I am an experienced primary school teacher with extensive experience of working with children in Year 5 and 6. I have worked across the whole of KS2 (years 3 -6) and I am currently working as a Year 6 class teacher in a local primary school. I have a great deal of experience in preparing children for their Year 6 SATs; I have also recently experienced SATs from a parent`s perspective and understand that this can be a stressful time for both parents and children. I am happy to tutor children in my own home or I can travel. As a teacher I am patient, friendly and I am able to tailor my tutoring to each individual`s needs. Experience: I have been a primary school teacher for 20 years and have taught across the whole of Key Stage 2. I worked as English coordinator for many years as well as being the head of year 6 when working in a middle school and in the school I currently work in I am the writing lead. I currently teach in Year 6 and have spent most of my career teaching children in Years 5 and 6.
