I am a passionate and engaging Teacher and Tutor, with a Bio-Chemistry based degree, a Chemistry Post Graduate Degree in Education, a Distinction in my Masters of Education Practice and a qualification in Educational Leadership.

I have years of experience as an Examiner for AQA, marking GCSE and A-Level papers in Chemistry and Biology. Doing this gives me a clearer understanding of what is needed to pass an exam, and enables me to forward this insight on to my students.

I have a proven track record of improving the progress of struggling students, as well as enabling high ability students to access the higher grade boundaries at GCSE and A Level. I have extensive experience of supporting students with special educational needs, I am a Governor at Clare Mount Specialist Sports College and have 3 Foster Sons with additional needs including glbal developmental delay, autism and ADHD.

I come with a variety of teaching resources and strategies, so I am able to tailor my teaching to best support any student.

Science can be a daunting and confusing topic but I am able to make Science simple, fun and relatable.

I have a 100% pass rate for the many students I have tutored over the years.

Experience: I have years of experience teaching all three Science disciplines in an outstanding school, resulting in my in-depth knowledge of the entire Science curriculum.

I currently teach at a high ability, selective school on the Wirral, enabling me to facilitate students in achieving higher grade boundaries and their maximum potential.

I have extensive expeirence of supporting students and young people with additional needs, both as a Teacher and Foster Carer.

My Biochemistry degree allows me to teach both Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level, as well as Physics at Key Stage 3.

I am an Examiner for AQA and mark GCSE and A Level Biology and Chemistry exam papers every year, so I have a sound understanding of the questions asked and the responses required to achieve maximum marks.
