I am a trainee accountant and qualified Secondary School teacher, specialising in Science with Chemistry. I tutor Maths and Chemistry on Sundays.

An outgoing person, punctual and dedicated, who possesses critical skills such as problem solving and effective time management. I find the most important thing is for people to learn at their own pace, something which teachers aren`t often able to do in school. I therefore focus on what you or your child wants to work on and they feel they need support with, to support their school work and most importantly, improve confidence. I try to encourage students to be interested in the subject and learning in general, as I feel this supports their understanding long term.

Availability: I tutor on Sunday. My timeslots are below:

The 9:00 and 4:00 lessons can be booked as in-person lessons at 8:30 and 4:30 respectively. This costs an additional £5 to cover travel time and petrol.

Experience: I have been tutoring since January 2015, and have supported a range of pupils, including SEN, in reaching their potential.

In September 2017 I began teacher training with Sunderland university, passing in November 2018; training was completed in Sixth Form and Secondary settings, teaching both OCR and AQA syllabi. Final observations identified key strengths in subject knowledge, and engaging my students to both support and extend their learning. Following this I ran intervention lessons for maths resit pupils at Middlesbrough College.
