MATHEMATICS (Ages 4-14)

I teach maths according to the UK National Curriculum from Reception through to the end of Key Stage 3 (Year 9).

LATIN

I can teach Latin according to either the Minimus or Cambridge Latin Course resources. At present, I am only teaching BOOK ONE of the CLC. If you need a bit of help and support please check very carefully which book you are on and then let me know which stage, stages, stories or grammar elements you would like some help with.

PHONICS (Ages 3-7)

Need some extra practise? I am a phonics whizzkid and have lots of powerpoints, games and resources to offer. I can teach from Phase 1 all the way through to Phase 5. Phonics is typically taught to ages 3-7 however happy to provide support to older children too.

READING AND COMPREHENSION (Ages 4-11)

It`s no secret this one is always very tricky to master. I will assess your level and then go through a book every lesson with associated questions and tasks to help refine your abilities.

ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE (Ages 7+)

I have taught English as a second language to young people and adults all around the world for years from Beginner to Advanced. Options here include:

1) Regular lessons from Beginner to Advanced.
2) Business English up to and including Upper Intermediate.
3) Lessons on English Idioms.
4) Lessons on phrasal verbs.
5) Conversation English (based on themes)

I follow the English for Everyone curriculum which is focused on second language learners. It is amazing and gets you going straightaway. Every lesson includes elements of speaking, listening, comprehension and grammar.

I am happy to teach both adults and children.

Availability: Every day from 8am to 8pm.

Experience: Ten years as a qualified teacher teaching the whole range of Primary and Secondary. I have worked in private, state schools and special needs schools too.
