The past 4 years completing my undergraduate degree equipped me with an array of transferable skills that I believe I can provide to my students. Aside from the report writing, communication, presentation, time management and organisation skills, mathematics and physics were the backbone of this degree path and in this profession. I have developed an extensive understanding on how to tackle complex mathematical and scientific problems which occur in the world of civil engineering, from analysing structures, accounting and using formulae to conjure up calculations.
I fortunately have been successful in securing an engineering graduate scheme where I have been able to apply my knowledge into the working world. It amazes me how everything we were taught since primary school can be applied to the real world day in and day out. This level of enthusiasm would not have reached me if it was not for my teachers and mentors who curved my interest in mathematics and science and it is for this reason that I want to share my passion of these subject areas, to the younger, up and coming generations, so that they too, can see the world the way an engineer sees it.
My first Lesson will be free of charge as I want to use this opportunity to understand my student`s learning style, for me to be able to cater towards their needs.
