I am an extremely experienced teacher of English and have a wide variety of skills to bring to my work with you.
I am very approachable and friendly and I firmly believe that positive, constructive feedback is 100 times more effective than criticism. I am patient and supportive and more than willing to work with you to construct an individualised learning plan tailored to your specific needs.

Experience: I have worked as a teacher of English for 23 years and am about to retire from full time work. This means that I can be very flexible with my tutoring time.
I have taught all levels of English, from basic literacy to A level, to a wide and diverse range of students. As an experienced teacher I have full DBS clearance. I also have experience in teaching students with dyslexia, autism, dyspraxia and emotional/behavioural problems.
