I have been teaching students of all ages to play the violin for over 10 years now, my aim is for them to have fun and to encourage effective learning in a positive way. I like to choose pieces and repertoire that i think each student will enjoy, and there is the option to do ABRSM music exams too. Students can also opt to learn folk songs and explore playing the fiddle.

I am a friendly, approachable and encouraging teacher, and i will expect you to practice!

Apart from teaching the violin, I am also a session musician. I play and record for various artists and have performed at the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony and also performed on things like Jools Holland etc….

Availability: Weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Experience: I have many years experience of teaching the violin peripatetically, in groups and in whole classes, in pupils` homes and at school. I have worked for many music services including Greenwich Music Service, Hammersmith & Fulham Music Service, Bristol Music Service & Gloucestershire Music Service. I have excellent experience at preparing students for ABRSM exams, and I have a 100% pass rate.
