I am passionate about my subject and making it engaging and simple. I feel that my age may make me less intimidating to students, and I am patient and caring. I have teaching experience in primary schools, however would enjoy helping a student to enjoy English and to excel in it, up to degree level. The English language and its disciplines underpin many subjects, so I`d be happy to help on whichever level I could with my experience in the subject. In 2013,I gained a 2:1 in English and Creative Writing BA Hons at Liverpool John Moores University. I achieved an A in English Language and Literature (combined) at A Level at Birkenhead Sixth Form College, and gained two A*s at GCSE level for English and English Literature from Upton Hall. In 2009 I became a Young Poet Laureate, representing the Wirral at various poetry events this included a poetry reading with the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.

I am currently working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school while studying towards a CBT qualification. I gained my Therapeutic Counselling Diploma this year.
