I am a fully qualified teacher and a native English speaker. My main expertise lies with teaching English and Maths in line with the National Curriculum. I am DBS checked and I am available for small groups or one-to-one tutoring.

My lessons are fun, well-structured and tailored to students’ individual needs for an accessible and successful learning experience.

I completed my Qualified Teacher Status and PGCE in Primary teaching (with Mathematics) and my undergraduate studies at the University of Leeds. I am an enthusiastic, committed and conscientious person and experienced in delivering high-quality teaching to pupils of wide-ranging abilities. I use a variety of teaching strategies and establish positive pupil-tutor relationships. I value using lesson time effectively and encouraging a growth mindset to build confidence. With my passion for teaching and abilities to empathise with a learner’s individual situation, I am skilled at designing appropriately challenging learning activities to ensure an engaging learning environment and secure good progress.

I have a strong academic record, achieving 12 A* and A grades at GCSE (including English and Maths) and 3 A* and A grades at A level.

Availability: Flexible. I can fit around your schedule including daytimes, evenings and weekends.
