Information about Pete

I am a medical student who has just finished his first year at Cambridge University. Having gotten straight 9`s at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-Level, as well as having performed well in my entrance exams for medical school, I have accumulated a vast repertoire of study tips, as well as a depth of understanding as to how to perform well in tests. I am enthusiastic about learning new things and teaching them to others. I enjoy the challenge of breaking down difficult concepts in ways that others can understand. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing piano and running in the local park.

Availability: During term time, I am available most evenings depending on commitments, such as supervisions. But I can notify students of these as soon as they arise. Outside of term, I am available most of the time, so can discuss with students to arrange a time that is convenient for them.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Having been a form prefect, a prefect and a deputy house captain at my old school, I have lots of experience working with students in younger year groups. Following this, I was also asked to be a mentor for a few students who were struggling with particular subjects at school. This was my entry introduction to tutoring younger students. Since then, I have tutored students in A-Level maths and chemistry, as well as GCSE biology, using Zoom as my platform of choice.
