I am an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher who uses a range of strategies to encourage problem solving skills and knowledge retention. Throughout my experience as a tutor, classroom teacher, Maths transition coordinator and Coordinator of Learning for Year 9, I have had consistently good and outstanding lesson observation reports and performance management reviews.

Availability: A variety of times throughout the week and weekend.I am soon returning to university, to retrain as an engineer and so hours during the school day will then have to be arranged in conjunction with my University timetable.

Experience: - Training in both primary and Secondary Mathematics education
- Teaching experience of years 4-13, with particular emphasis on years 7-12
- 2 Years working as a classroom teacher in a mixed school in Wigan
- 4 years tutoring experience in South Liverpool
- 11 years working as a classroom teacher in a boys` school in Liverpool
- 3 of these years working as Maths Transition Coordinator (working with the local primary schools to organise Maths fun days and challenging activities for gifted and talented pupils
- 5 of these years working as Coordinator of Learning for Year 9 (Head of Year)
