Information about Mohammed
I am a professional international economic expert (over 8 years experience), previously working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. My real-life macroeconomic experience is extremely helpful for Theme 4 Edexcel Economics.
I studied Economics at the University of Surrey and graduated with a First Class (Hons) degree. I am currently studying a part-time Masters in Development Economics at SOAS.
I am passionate about Economics and love teaching. I make learning Economics fun and enjoyable.
I bring real world examples to apply and simplify the economic theory. My approach involves discussing and provoking debate to stimulate critical thinking. I focus on exam practise from day one to ensure my students grasp the right technique to secure the highest marks.
I have been tutoring A level/GCSE/Degree economics for over a year. Over 70% of my students achieved A-A* grades. One of my big success stories is helping a student who had scored a low D in her mock. I helped her achieve an A in her 2018 A Level Economics exam. Another of my students scored a B in her last year A Level exam. She decided to take a gap year and with my help she achieved an A*.
