I recently completed a PhD at the University of Warwick, using maths to explore and understand muscle contractions. Having used maths over 8 years of university study, I fully understand the frustrations of struggling for hours with maths problems, but also the pleasure that comes when things finally click!

I have a positive style of tutoring, believing that confidence is a crucial factor in understanding. I work to the strengths of my students, finding ways to harness these to address the more challenging problems. I`m patient, friendly and relaxed and committed to providing the best support I can for all of my students.

Experience: I`ve tutored A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate maths and science students and taught English as a foreign language to Spanish adults and children.
