Information about Andrew

I am associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and also hold Diploma in marketing of financial services

Latterly I have also secured a Pass with Merit in AAT Level 4 Accounting Qualification (having completed AAT Levels 2 and 3 over the past couple of years)

Home is in Bucks and I have worked across both Large corporate sector in financial services, as well as private sector where I was responsible for building a £15m portfolio of services for vulnerable people. Between 2010 and 2015 I was heading a national body representing around 160 not for profit home improvement agencies mostly from the third sector

My experience on the boards of several charities have included Finance Committee Chairs and commercial partnership lead roles - all of which are heavily immersed in finance and financial information

Availability: I am flexible in terms of daytime and evening and available for short notice bookings. I`d be happy to provide shorter, regular coaching session if thats helpful to you

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am able to draw on more than 40 years of business experience in which i have developed a range of skills including financial analysis coaching and upskilling members of the teams I have led from time to time .
All these roles have required numeracy and financial literacy to a high level - which I have now formalised through the awarding of the AAT Level 4 Award (after securing AAT Levels 2 and 3 before that),
,
These varied roles have also enabled me to become adaptive at recognising that every one has their own individual learning style which I am now able to put into practice with AAT students and candidates

As well as my considerable business experience, over the last few years I have been an unpaid trustee on the boards of two national charities (one of which I now chair) and have also been the chair of a health and wellbeing charity in Islington, N London. I have also been a member of the Finance Committee for one of those national charities
These have also helped me to hone my skills around empathy especially

I also work with British Council every quarter managing a team of up to 12 individuals delivering ACCA online assessments in a CBT setting
