I’m an experienced teacher of A Level Biology, GCSE Sciences and former Head of Biology. I am currently teaching at a secondary school based in the West Midlands as a teacher of A Level and GCSE Biology and Subject leader of KS3 Science. I have been teaching both A Level and GCSE Biology for 15 years and love my subject!

I am currently teaching at a secondary school based in the West Midlands as a teacher of A Level and GCSE Biology and Subject leader of KS3 Science. I have been teaching both A Level Biology and GCSE Sciences for 15 years and love my subject! My teaching experience includes 8 years teaching within selective Grammar schools. Many of my former students have gone on to study science related degrees at the best Universities including several who went on to study at Oxbridge. I am experienced at teaching students of all abilities and use a variety of teaching styles to meet the needs of my students. Initially, I will work with you to identify areas of weakness and gaps in knowledge and skills, before working to fill these gaps with you. We will do a lot of work on exam technique and constant feedback will be provided to ensure you are clear of your next steps.

Saffira helped my son prepare for mock up GCSEs and he got top grade. Saffira helped him understand several concepts he was struggling with even though we started only month before mock ups. Saffira is a dedicated tutor who followed each lesson feedback on progress made and well chosen materials to read between tutoring sessions.

Saffira has been great at explaining A-level Biology exam techniques and strategies with my daughter. This has helped her gain in confidence when approaching exam questions, so she has really benefitted. She is punctual and I would highly recommend her.
