This is Farheen . Currently working as English Tutor and Manager at Kip McGrath Education Centres, UK. I am a qualified and dedicated English teacher. I have a degree in Applied Linguistics and possess an impressive English teaching experience (ESL) at University level and O/A Levels and currently pursuing my MS in Applied Linguistics from NED University, Pakistan.
I strongly believe in learner autonomy and make sure that I accommodate students with different needs. I am also committed to enhancing my students` skills that they need in order to succeed in their professional lives.

Experience: I possess 5 years of University level English teaching experience while teaching courses to the undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pakistan. The courses that I have taught include, English Grammar, Business English Writing Skills, Oral Communication & Presentation Skills, Business, and Electronic Communication.
Also, I have had an opportunity to facilitate IELTS preparation courses for the Receptive Skills section.
My experience also includes teaching O level`s English.

I strongly believe in making sure that my students are comfortable with the way I teach. I speak to my students before starting any topic. We discuss the topic generally and see if there is something that students might find difficult and I try to explain in the easiest possible way.
Also, the teaching approach depends on each student and their individual needs. Topics such as essay writing and creative writing need to be explained in a way that students enjoy as well as learn. Therefore, I try to give relevant practice questions to the students and give individual attention and assess the write-ups while discussing the same with the respective student(s). This makes the students really understand what are the areas of improvisations. I do make sure to give small home tasks for the students to practice at home as well and check them the next day.
