I AM CURRENTLY FULL FOR TUITION.

I currently teach A level Biology at a secondary school in Nottinghamshire and have taught A level Biology for 18 years
I am an OCR examiner at A level and have presented professional development sessions on behalf of OCR to other A level teachers.
Having tutored successfully for many years I find enjoyment and satisfaction in helping students find their confidence in the subject no matter which grade they are aiming for.

Availability: Tues - Fri evenings

Experience: I`ve taught A level Biology for 18 years and am currently teaching the OCR specification A. I am an examiner for OCR Exam board at A level and have done this for a nearly a decade. I have tutored students privately for many years and have covered AQA many times as well as OCR. Students I have tutored in the past have been across the whole grade spectrum and the enjoyment of watching someone find their confidence again in the subject is why I do the job!

My sessions include a lot of drawing & annotating diagrams, modelling exam answers as well as workable strategies for learning the enormous quantity of facts. I think the use of props such as Play doh, pipe cleaners and other bits and pieces are great for making abstract concepts more concrete!
