Hi I`m Katie. I am a graduate from Warwick University with an upper class second division degree with honours for Physics with Astrophysics! I have tutored GCSE and A-Level students in Maths and Physics for 3 years now and have a very solid STEM background. My current job is working in a private boarding school as a teacher, I love teaching and helping people learn new things and would love you as my new tutee.

Availability: I am free everyday during 12:45 to 13:45, or am free from 16:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am also free from 13:30 on a Saturday and all day Sunday. If you are interested in being tutored by me, give me a time slot that works for you and I will try to accommodate as best I can. I typically recommend an hour for each tutoring session but am willing to do longer or shorter to fit in with your schedule.

Experience: I have done tutoring throughout sixth form and university to my peers and siblings of my friends.
Throughout the summer of 2023 I moved to Spain for 2 months to tutor 2 lovely children ages 12 and 9 in English and Maths.
In the past on tutorhunt I have tutored students in Maths, Physics, Astronomy at both GCSE and A-Level. I have tutored students from the age of 12 to 23 and have even taught one student the entire A-Level Maths syllabus, independent of an institution, so that they could get their A-Level qualification as a mature student.
My current job is a teacher of all subjects in a private preparatory boarding school and for September 2025 I have been accepted at Oxford University to do a PGCE in secondary Physics. With my current role, I have learnt how to effectively teach and help students of all ages to understand and engage with learning. I teach in a way that helps maximise your understanding so you can achieve the results you want to in your exams, or to simply learn more of a subject that you love.
