I am a friendly and enthusiastic mathematics teacher who believes that all students learn through different approaches. I therefore tailor my approach depending on the individual`s needs. My belief is that with hands-on participation and thought provoking discussion, this will enable the student to think about the topic in more detail and therefore understanding the concepts much better.
My goal is to provide tuition which leaves the student with a real sense of achievement at the end of it. Breaking down topics into small achievable steps will make the learning less daunting and enjoyable. I like to use a mixture of real-life examples and exam question so there is every opportunity of building up those skills to tackle exams as well as a solid base of understanding.

Availability: Afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: 10 years teaching including KS3 and GCSE.
Prior to that I have also provided one-to-one support for KS2 students revising for their SATs.
