Information about Catherine
I know how hard and frustrating it can be to learn a new language. As a native French speaker, I had to learn English as a second language myself.
My approach is centred around the leaner and I will adapt my teaching methods to suit your needs, whether it be by preparing you for an exam, helping if you are struggling in class or just giving you the confidence to speak French.
Availability: At the moment, I`m available all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I`m also available Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
In the evenings, I can do Tuesdays before 7.30, Thursday and Friday evenings anytime.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I taught French for 10 years in a school in Cardiff and left to concentrate on my educational website. The site, [contact detail removed] which is used by teachers in schools , provides interactive activities for language learners.
After I gave up my job as a school teacher, I started tutoring in my free time as well because helping pupils was a side of my work that I really missed.

Cannot recommend Catherine enough. She helped our daughter with all aspects of the A level French curriculum, giving her more confidence and consolidating and adding to what she learnt at sixth form. She supported her with all the reading around that is also needed for the A level and we were really pleased we found Catherine. Big thanks to her.

Catherine has taught my daughter for several months. The lessons have been very well structured and Catherine has been very encouraging. Catherine is very experienced and knowledgeable about the curriculum and has shared valuable information about what to expect and how to answer the questions. My daughter`s reading and writing has improved a great deal and she is a lot more confident in the subject.
