Becky

My name is Becky and I am 26 years old.

I am a Primary Teacher and the Maths Coordinator for the school I currently work at. As a primary teacher, I cover all areas of the curriculum and therefore offer tuition for any subject required.

I produce a safe and secure environment for children and feel strongly towards children`s comfort when learning. I feel children should have a sound understanding of all primary subjects as a foundation to build upon.

I have experience with a wide range of children and have the ability to adapt lessons to support the individual childs needs.

Availability: I am available on evening during the week and will also offer tuition throughout school holidays.

Experience: Since becoming a primary teacher, I have worked in year 3, year 4 and year 5 and have provided Maths intervention groups throughout the school from reception to year 6.

I meet regularly with school governors to discuss the progress of children and set targets for the school in order to move children along in their learning journey. I have had Ofsted observe lessons and feedback with outstanding comments.

Prior to this, I have had a range of experience working with children. I looked after four children 3-4 times a week assisting with homework and carried out extra curriculum sessions to help support with their target subjects. I looked after these children for 7 years.
During this time I also cared for a child with Autism. Working not only with the education side of school but also the social side.

I have managed a nursery and have also been a supply teacher for one year.
