Currently, I am a teacher in the UK working in the field of Special and Inclusive Education. I have been an education practitioner for more than 12 years, and a qualified teacher in two countries, the UK and Greece, where I am originally from.

I am primarily an English teacher, and teaching English has been my first passion until I discovered the Field of Special and Inclusive Education, which empowered me to become a better teacher. As a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language or Second Language, I have always had a lot to bring to the table, first and foremost my ability to understand how people learn additional languages (as opposed to developing language skills as infants). English has been a second language for me, and I have both the understanding and the experience to support an English language learner effectively.

In tutor hunt, I would like to work primarily with self-motivated adults who wish to learn English or improve their English skills for a variety of purposes. Due to the fact that I have been lucky enought to have a well-regarded academic backround, I have the skills to effectively support young people who begin their academic journey with all aspects of their education, e.g. improving grammar skills, English syntax, and TEFL exams (e.g. IELTS); however, I am, above all, a person who believes in inclusion and equal opportunities, and I am open to working with all people, regardless of their educational background.

Availability: Due to unforseen personal circumstances, I will be unavailable until August 2025;

I am currently in full time employment as a Teacher: I am available for tutoring only after school hours, weekends, and term holidays.

In terms of working with me regularly, I would recommend a weekly routine that involves a mixture of weekday evenings with one weekend slot, depending on how many tutoring hours you wish to have per week, in order to allow time between tutoring slots for studying independently and resting.
