Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a mature “student” in my 40s who although having studied maths up to A-level standard at some stage during my studies: Foundation Engineering / BSc Computing, I would like to refresh / further my skills. Although not directly relevant to my line of work presently: software developer trading systems, I feel an increased appreciation in mathematics would enhance my effectiveness / open new career paths. I would like to aim to a Maths A-level qualification first, so would need advice on how to ultimately apply / sit the exam once i’ve arrived at this level (would therefore need to be taught a full A-level syllabus). Would you be available about 3 hours a week perhaps with a view to take me up to A-level standard so I could consider sitting an exam in circa 2 years time?
