Information about Mandalin
I tutor A Level Maths (for all exam boards), and also GCSE (all levels and exam boards). I have also tutored many adult students returning to maths. There is a full range of reasons that students sign up for lessons from just wanting to boost confidence to reinforcing what they are learning in lessons. From just wanting to get that pass at GCSE to wanting to get that top grade at A Level, and everything in between. If you wish to try out a lesson, please send an enquiry.
Having taught in A level for many years, I am particularly aware of the specific support students need at this time when bridging the gap between GCSE and A Level. Again, please contact me if you would like a lesson to help with this.
Availability: I have some availability remaining from September, so please contact me if you have any questions.
Usual times are Mon- Fri 4pm into evening, and some morning times on Friday and Tuesday - but contact me to ask about other times.
I tutor online which is really simple - all you need is a phone or laptop for zoom - you do not need to leave home and can save time and money on travel. After the online session I will e mail you a copy of all of our work so you can go over it after the session if you need to. Students can also e mail to me questions if they have specific work they need help with.
So far, all students who have had a first trial lesson (even those unsure about online learning) have found it very useful and decided to continue.
Lessons can also now be in person at my home.

I have taught GCSE Maths, A Level Maths and AS Further Maths (on the new specification). I am an AQA examiner, with 10+ years experience of marking A Level exam papers, so I can give guidance on exam technique also.
