Information about Jacob

Full time professional tutor with over 3000 hours of experience and a physics graduate obtaining a 2:1 BSc from Imperial College London. I pride myself on being a calm, consistent and determined tutor.

My approach is unique to each student as it is informed by the aims of parents, the student themself and what is being done at school. I target the gaps in a students knowledge to raise their confidence and bring out their potential.

Many students simply benefit from an organised environment. I make use of a touch screen laptop and pen for making notes and writing full questions. Students/ parents can easily access this via a one-off email link to a OneNote file. This makes it so easy for a student re-read notes and carefully review how questions should be solved and parents can easily check our progress. I also make use of OneNote to assign HW, when necessary.

Availability: I am currently taking students for the 2019-2020 academic year. My availability is good as I work Afternoons and evenings Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. By late November, most of my slots will be booked.

Typically, I offer regular tuition at the same time each week. Sessions are at least 1.5 hours long.
