Before my first visit to this beautiful city, I had never actually thought of it as a city that would make a strong case for itself. This however was a premature and ill-conceived assumption. And as I discovered, it is only when you have been to a city, that you can really geta a taste its true essence.
If you are on the search of a city whose charm is close to that of Montreal, I am afraid to say that the only other marching option is Paris. The city of Montreal has a majority of the population as French speaking, with about 30 percent comprising of people of British, Eastern European, South American, Jewish and Greek descent. Montreal is also Canada's most unique city, due to its fine hotels, interesting bars and great variety of events and festivals. In addition, accommodation is never a problem, as there are many boutique and cheap hotels to choose from.
These are just but a few of the many things I love about Montreal.
