My Recommendation About Mandarin Learning Material

There are two series of Mandarin language learning books which I feel brilliant for English speaking students:

For younger learners (of about primary school and secondary school students` age group), I`d like to recommend you Chinese for GCSE ??????, which .contains audio and video teaching resources as well, and it covers fun and comprehensive ways of studying for young learners .

For adult learners (of about high school age or above), I would strongly recommend Text book: Discover China, Macmillan 2010 (Student's Book, Teacher's Book, Work Book), which also contains CD for the purpose of teaching Listening. I think this series of books are not only comprehensive in the designing of both teaching and practicing activities, but also closely attached with our daily life. Further more, compare with some other textbooks of same level, I think this series of books present the texts with very standard grammar. And of course, the whole series of 4 books (the fourth one is still expected to be published) are designed for students from beginner to elementary and pre-intermediate level.
