Turkish is the language of the Turks, which has been used for more than 4000 years. First written forms of Turkish language was found at Mongolia, which once the homeland of all Turkic nations. After the Great Turkic Migration, starting at 6th. century, some of the Turkic nations came to Anatolia and made it new homeland. Anatolian Turkish is now the official language of several countries, including Turkish Republic.


Turkish language had many different alphabets, including Gokturk, Uyghur, Cyrillic, Hellenic and Arabic letters. Language was the same, but during the Ottoman Empire, the alphabet was altered Arabic letters. With the republic and the revolution, tha language was converted to Latin alphabet, with some additions.


Turkish is an agglutinative language, that means, they add suffixes to words to produce new words and grammar. Turkish is a very systematic language. &Grammar rules are precise and clear, with almost no exceptions. There are some loan words from Arabic, Persian and French languages.
