In this day and age, we constantly hear of many experienced teachers that have become motivated to think outside the box and explore the most effective teaching techniques for the different learning styles, in order to provide unique learning experiences for each student. By using a positive and student-centred approach in order to give the students the opportunity to improve their confidence in their learning skills, those teachers show their enthusiasm for their subject areas and the ability to deliver information in a passionate way.

When teaching kinaesthetic learners and/or supporting them in preparing for Maths exams, for example, it is essential to take into consideration the fact that they learn best when they are physically engaged or actively participating in the activities. They won`t be able to happily sit to read and write for long periods of time, so it`s important to allow them to take as many short breaks as necessary in order to carry on with their studies for longer.

However, on the other hand they won`t be easily distracted by certain things such as music playing or people talking while they are studying, in the way that many other learners would. Considering all these aspects, including Dance/Movement as well as Mindfulness/Meditation techniques as added studying tools in tuition for individuals who are kinaesthetic learners has been shown to be very effective. During an hour lesson, for example, offering the student short breaks when they would participate in activities involving music and movement associated with the topic they are studying will certainly result in enthusiasm from the students and their parents.
