The human voice needs proper breath support and the use of resonators for proper speaking, in the same way that the singing voice needs this as well.

Elocution Lessons will give the speaker more confidence when speaking on all occasions.

We learn to speak and articulate as we grow from childhood to adulthood, and the way in which we speak evolves organically over the years. This growth is influenced by the environment and locality in which we are brought up. According to the region or country in which we have spent our lives, our speech is affected by the various nuances and pronunciations we have learnt.

I teach my students how to be understood with more clarity when speaking English. Articulation and enunciation are taught using vowels and consonants in a way that leads to ease of communication.

The correct use of the voice is built up using exercises. Often the breathing of a pupil will be shallow, and the voice production stilted, and nerves with cause rushing over the words. Vocal technique can over come this. I use vocal and breathing exercises and link this up with my teaching of how to sing. The speaking voice is central to singing, and so many singing techniques can be used to support and focus the voice.
