From the list of most popular universities in the States it doesn`t look as though money was the deciding factor. If you`re a top student over here, then why not go to a top university over here? There`s something else guiding these decisions and the trend. Partly it`s a numbers game. Numbers of applicants to numbers of places. The US is vast, and there are many more universities than just the four most popular. They speak English, (really, they do!) and they offer more. More of everything. More choice, more chance: more! My US College Exams and Applications page takes you to the Fulbright Commission web site from where you can navigate the many possibilities. One of the things it`s really hard to get our heads around is the financial comparison and the scholarships offered by US Universities. It`s a great deal of work to follow through with the idea to create a reality, but as more and more students achieve this goal, others follow.
You don`t have to go to a private school, where the US entrance exams are prepared during after-school-tutoring, but you might want to look into becoming familiar with the entrance exams and the applications process. I`m here to help. I can tutor small groups online to reduce the cost if you don`t live nearby, or tutor one-on-one or at your school. You decide how to prepare for success.
