Feedback for our tutors in Lockleaze from previous students
"Jacco is always on time and well prepared, even if the topic changes as he walks in the door. Able to explain key concepts quickly, and re-enforce learning. Very flexible and able he helped to ease the A-Level tension in this household."

"Tom has been helping my son with A Level Chemistry since a week before half term. The subject is challenging and my son was really struggling and starting to lose confidence in class. Tom has been absolutely brilliant on many levels. He`s frank and honest about the effort that is required and expects the student to commit but he makes the learning interesting and accessible. Unlike a lot of teachers, he doesn`t talk "at" the student but rather he engages their interest and insists that they explain their knowledge back to him. Of course this is the benefit of one to one learning, that would be difficult to achieve with a class. I wish we had found him a bit sooner since the exams are only weeks away but I`m entirely confident that my son will have increased his final grade as a result of Tom`s help and encouragement. My son says "one lesson with Tom is the equivalent of about 10 lessons at school" which is a decent testimony on it`s own."

"My son had always been good at English, so we had a shock when he only achieved a 3 and 5 in his mock exams. We hired Leanne with 12 weeks to go before his GCSEs and she helped him in exam techniques and recall, and I am pleased to say he achieved 6 and 9 in his GCSEs. Leanne helped him in a different way to his teachers and helped him achieve what he was capable of."

"Tina has been helping my son with A levels mathematics. Joe has made an impressive progress since he started having regular lessons with Tina. He is getting better results in his assignments . Tina is very professional, always prepared for the lessons, she explains difficult concepts very well and we are delighted to have her as Joe`s tutor."

"Amir is an incredibly talented mathematician.
His explanations are exemplary and he often uses analogies so that his students are able to relate questions to themselves, or something they are familiar with. This is vital as being a teacher myself, many students fail in making connections to the real world when presented with a problem-solving question.
He has a natural flair for numbers and an enthusiasm that is unparalleled. His love for maths shines through when explaining a topic so complex. He has multiple resources ready for his students and exposes them to all areas of maths within the GCSE syllabus. He also has created a mini-classroom in his outhouse to mimic that of a real classroom, for the benefit and progress of his students.
Amir shows care and focus towards his students and always strives to help them achieve their goal in maths."
