"Lisa works with my 9 year old son, 3 days a week. She’s been coming to our home for close to 18 months now. My son has autism amongst other difficulties and has been out of his mainstream school whilst we are waiting for him to move to a specialist provision. My son doesn’t speak to Lisa as he’s selective mute but she has built up a trusting relationship with him despite this and this allows him to access maths and English. The work is tailored to his individual needs and interests. Lisa has a caring and friendly personality and is always happy working with my son despite it always being a one way conversation.
