My name is Sophie and I am currently a student at the University of Bath, studying a masters degree in Natural Sciences. This consists of units in organic chemistry, biology, pharmacology and mathematics.

I offer tuition in biology and chemistry for all ages up to A-level standard. The tuition takes place at my house on Calton Walk, which is fairly close to the centre of Bath. I am a friendly, patient and approachable person, and my tutoring sessions consist of the following:

-Explaining the areas that the student finds difficult
-Working through their class notes and trying out examination questions
-Helping with homework and coursework
-Examination and revision tips (as I am a student, these are fresh in my mind!)

Availability: I am available every late afternoon/ evening apart from Sunday, and I have many free slots during the day.

Experience: I have had some experience of voluntary teaching in a local school in Clitheroe, and I am often helping my younger siblings understand scientific concepts and aiding them in their homework.

Qualifications: 7A*s and 3As at GCSE (including Mathematics A* and Dual Award Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) A* A*)
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Studies, all A at A-level
History and Critical Thinking, A at AS-level.
