I am an Intensive Care Nurse at Southampton General Hospital's Neurological Unit. I completed my degree at the University of Southampton and am now working towards various professional qualifications and MSc in Critical Care Nursing.

I am a reliable, friendly and creative person with a passion for the sciences. I have a drive to succeed and the ability to create an environment conducive to learning. I believe that caring and encouraging children and adults of all ages is the best way to teach. I have a deep understanding of how low confidence and self-esteem can affect learning, as I have seen many people struggle with learning difficulties. I am a caring, patient person who is willing and able to nuture talent, something i am positive everyone has. I have been told I am a stress-resistant person and would like to think that I can pass this on, as well as my other attributes, to others around me.

Experience: I am an intensive care nurse with a mentoring qualification. I have taken part in classroom teaching sessions, teaching undergraduate students aswell as colleagues and fellow professionals. I have also undertaken one to one skills and knowledge based teaching of undergraduate students.

Qualifications: I have a mentoring qualification with Southampton University Hospitals Trust. I have a Degree in Adult Nursing. I have qualifications in First Aid and Advanced Life Support.
