My strongest skill in teaching is being able to deliver simple and clear explanations which cut straight to the chase, so I shall try to do the same here! Interests include cycling, cinema, reading and travel. Non-smoker, driving licence. Most of my lessons these days are delivered online via Facetime or Skype, which seems to suit most people, with a few in person appointments locally.

Availability: By negotiation. I`m mostly booked but often able to fit new tutees around existing appointments.

Experience: I have been teaching Maths at secondary level for 25 years, 10 of those as a Head of Maths, and 10 as a private tutor. I have taught everything from KS2 support and extension up to A2 Further Maths. I have particular expertise in Mechanics and statistics up to Further Maths level, and have worked with students following the EdExcel, AQA or OCR syllabus. I have taught students at A-level who have achieved full marks across all 6 modules, and have significant experience in developing teaching and learning strategies in schools.
