primary level: £30 per hourI love to see students succeed in Maths. I have the ability to inspire confidence and I can demystify the subject.
My experience has given me much insight into the challenges that students face with Maths, the language barriers, the confusion with letters and numbers, the rigour of the subject and the rules. I am completely familiar with the exam structures and the expectations of the exams as I am an approved examiner for Maths with both the Edexcel and AQA boards.
I have a range of materials and I tailor my sessions to the need of the student(s) that I work with.
Availability: I am available during the day and the evening and the weekends. The time would need to be then agreed with the tutee.

Experience: 25 years of teaching Maths, 8 years as Head of Maths Faculty, took early retirement in February 2011 from Mainstream school, have taught from years 7 to Further Maths A-level with excellent results.
Qualifications: Bsc in Maths and Physics, HDip in Education, part way through an Masters in Education.
